EMPTY STOCKING CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
The Eden Family YMCA organizes a community project called
"Empty Stocking Fund."
This interview process requires the list of applicants be compared to other agencies, preventing duplication of assistance. Approved applicants receive either a box of food or gift certificate for food and children age eleven or younger are eligible for toys.
Local schools help collect canned goods for box distribution and the Rockingham County Sheriff's Department assists in toy collections.
We will be taking applications for the
Empty Stocking Program
beginning November 10, 2008 through
November 21, 2008.
Monday through Friday from
10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
**Volunteers are needed to help with this program.**
Please call Debbie or Rene้ to volunteer.
