Eden Family YMCA awarded $10,000 grant

The J.C. Penney Afterschool Fund has awarded a grant of $10,200 to the Eden Family YMCA to help more children participate in safe, life-enriching after-school programs.

Complementing the fund's support of the Eden Family YMCA is a separate gift from J.C. Penney of 18 gift cards worth $50 each for children receiving financial assistance to help with the purchase of clothing and school supplies.

Lights on After School Project Celebrated

The Eden YMCA celebrated its Lights on After School event in October with a special presentation of a check from J.C. Penney

Seniors that volunteer in the SilverSneakers Fitness Program were recognized with certificates.

Volunteers that worked in the YMCA Summer Fun Camp Program were honored with certificates.

The YMCA has a long-standing commitment to health of spirit, mind and body.
