“Wise Children Still Follow Christ”

PROGRAM INFORMATION:
Your child can escape an ordinary summer and venture into a world specially designed to help kids grow in spirit, mind and body! The program allows an opportunity of learning new skills, meeting new friends and having fun in a Christian environment. Daily devotions and values education are key components to our camp’s spiritual emphasis. Our staff encourages respect for others, trust, honesty and self-confidence.
AGE:
Rising kindergartners through 5th grade
WHAT TO BRING:
Write your child’s name on all belongings (this includes towels, etc.) Make sure your child dresses appropriately for outdoor activities. We recommend tennis shoes, cotton socks and light, cotton clothing. They will get dirty!!! Each day your child needs to bring: YMCA membership card, sunscreen, paper bag lunch (microwave not available), swimsuit and towel (check group schedule). The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen possessions. Money brought to the Y should be put in a Ziploc baggie, with child’s name on it, and given to the counselor.
Radios, CD players and other toys are not permitted at camp unless requested by the camp director.
SNACK:
Each morning and afternoon the YMCA provides a light snack and a drink at lunch. Your child may bring his/her own drink, if you prefer.
